$5+ child abuse challenge on Change.org

We are founders of Ark of Hope For Children; a community we're building in High Springs, Florida for siblings, children and youth in foster care. We started a $5 challenge through Change.org. The widget we created is below. Most of us spend $5 or more on a fast food lunch 5 or more times a week.
Restoring life in my old self
Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 10:14PM I'm back from the mission field. Ten other guys and myself worked on refurbishing a Civil War era church in Macon, Georgia. A couple we know bought it and are turning it into an outreach to the depressed area's of town and to the Mercer College students. What an awesome experience

Hebrews 13:2 It was not long ago that I wandered into High Springs Feed our local feed store here in North Central Florida. A tall, young man helped me with my fifty pound bad of feed, refusing to let me carry the bag myself. I recall thinking that this gentle giant who too many people would pass off as a redneck southerner was modeling a humble servanthood that I see too
